Our topics for blended learning
Numbers
The topic "Integers" is introductory for the subject "Elementary Mathematics" for the 5th grade. Consists of 2 lessons.
Linear inequalities
For the 9th grade student who wants to “pull up” algebra, the theme “Linear inequalities” is extremely important. During 3 lessons, the student will be able to comprehend the main features of these inequalities and perform control tests at the end to fix the result.
Rational expressions and equations
This topic will allow students to master the elementary and simplest actions associated with rational expressions. Included in the supertheme "Expressions and Equations", consists of 4 lessons.
Whole expressions
The topic "Whole expressions" consists of 6 lessons and is introductory in the subject "Algebra" for the 7th grade. After passing this topic, students will be able to distinguish monomials and polynomials, as well as carry out simple actions with them, such as multiplication or subtraction.
Divisibility of numbers. GCF. LCM
In this topic, students will be able to master the elementary rules of divisibility of various numbers, as well as learn concepts such as multiples, simple and composite numbers, etc.
Common Fractions with Same and Different Denominators
In this topic, students will become familiar with the basic actions applied to common fractions with same and different denominators - addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
Quadratic Function
The theme "Quadratic function" is included in the extensive super-theme "Functions" and consists of 3 lessons. Students will learn how to build a graph of function, as well as perform its geometric transformations.
Geometric shapes
Here are the lessons that will enable students to get acquainted with the simplest geometric shapes - triangles, squares and others.
Linear function
The topic "Linear function" will allow students to learn all the features of this type of functions and solve them using the constructed graphs. Consists of 2 lessons, is included into the supertheme "Function".
Irrational expressions
Irrational expressions are an integral part of rational expressions that you could learn in the previous topic, so the knowledge of one topic will complement the second one.
Simple functions
The "Simplest Functions" topic covers study materials from 2 lessons, after passing which you will learn how to extract the root from "y", as well as how to build a graph of a function.
Common fractions and decimals
In this topic, we will explain to you what is the relationship between common fractions and decimal, their differences and similarities.
Quadratic Inequalities
In this topic, you will move from quadratic functions to quadratic inequalities, where during 2 lessons you will learn how to solve a system of equations with two variables and much more.
Equations. System of equations
This topic is included in the subject "Algebra" for the 7th grade, the supertheme "Expressions and equations" and consists of 4 lessons.
Common fractions
Ordinary fractions are the basis of mathematics, which each 5th grade student must possess. In this section, you will be able to take interactive lessons and learn the concept of "fractions" and the simplest actions with them.
Ratios and proportions
The topic "Ratios and proportions" consists of 2 lessons in which the main subtleties of these mathematical concepts are explained in detail.
Number Sequences
This topic covers the concepts of arithmetic and geometric sequences. It's part of the "Sequences" super theme and includes 3 lessons.
Decimals
The topic "Decimals" consists of 2 lessons that will help students improve their knowledge of this topic, including learning the basic actions with this type of fractions.
Simple geometric shapes
The introductory topic for the subject "Geometry" for the 7th grade will introduce you the simplest geometric shapes - angles. Included in the same supertheme, consists of 3 lessons.
Quadratic equations
The final theme of the subject "Algebra" for grade 8. After passing this lesson, the student will be able to solve quadratic equations, familiarize himself with the concept of the "root of the quadratic equation", and also learn the Theorem Vietta.
Percentages
Percents are the most important component of elementary mathematics, so it requires special attention. In this topic, we will help you understand the percentage and explain all the features easily.
Triangles
Triangle is the most important figure in elementary geometry; therefore, the knowledge of its features will greatly simplify your studies in the future.
Quadrilaterals
A parallelogram, a rectangle, a square, a rhombus are all quadrilaterals. You can get acquainted with all these geometrical figures in this theme “Quadrilaterals”, which consists of 3 lessons.
Solving percent problems
To secure the theme "Percentages," a practice would be of great use. This theme consists of 2 lessons, with the help of which a student will be able to master percentages perfectly.
Elements of Applied Mathematics
Applied mathematics is the most important branch of mathematics, which lays the foundations for higher mathematics, so the knowledge of this theme will greatly facilitate learning in the future. The final theme of the "Algebra" subject for 9th grade consists of 5 lessons.
Circumference and circle
In this topic, a student will be able to thoroughly review concepts about circumference and circles, understand the tangents, and analyze the features of constructing a circle inscribed in a triangle.
Similarity of triangles
This topic will bring the main thesis of the similarity of triangles to the student. It also includes lessons in which students learn the Theorem of Thales, features of the median and bisector, and much more in detail.
Сircle and diagrams
The topic "Circle and diagrams" is included in the supertheme "Circle" and the subject of "Elementary Mathematics", consists of 2 lessons.
Solving triangles
Meaningful continuation of the 7th and 8th grades themes. “Solving triangles” will again explain to students the subtleties of sines, cosines, etc., formulas for finding the area of triangles.
Applied Mathematics
The topic clearly demonstrates the applied application of mathematics.
Right triangles
In the topic "Rectangular triangles", the student will be able to find out how this type of triangles differs from the rest, especially the sine, tangent, and others, as well as the importance of the Pythagorean Theorem. The topic consists of 3 lessons.

I got acquainted with the platform during quarantine, when we got free access to GIOS. After remote learning, we decided to continue cooperation for the 5th grade. All in all, blended learning was introduced for math classes at school. This was a very important step for us. Thanks for the opportunity!

The son isn’t really keen on math. Unfortunately, there is no time to constantly study together and catch up with the subject. We found GIOS and decided to try taking classes with a tutor. After a month of fruitful work - the results are evident! The child has fewer issues, and the grades have got better. There is still work to do, but thanks for your platform anyways!
