I learned about GIOS tutors from a classmate, when she got a high score in the geometry test, although before that she had a 5-6. Now I'm also tutoring and have improved my school grades, thank you very much!

Studied with a PRO tutor, improved mathematics thanks to the teacher's approach and interactive lessons on the GIOS platform. Now it is much easier for me to understand the subject and my mother is satisfied with the grades😁

I really enjoyed taking lessons on the platform) I especially remember the stories of Surikat GIOS, he is so kind and explains everything clearly! And everything is so beautifully illustrated, like in real cartoons, and he charges you with good luck for the whole lesson. Also, you can improve your results and get cool avatars. At the end of the lesson, there are always practical tasks from real life.

1

Why can’t I use GIOS for free?

Unfortunately, GIOS is not funded by the state, and we still do need funding to back up the servers, develop new materials and pay for teachers' working hours.
2

Who develops training materials for GIOS?

Dozens of the best mathematicians and math teachers in Ukraine have contributed to the creation of our lessons. Some work in private schools, some study abroad, and some are active researchers at the Institute of Pedagogy. We bring together the best minds of Ukraine to give your children the highest quality materials.
3

How is learning math with GIOS different from other courses?

A teacher should do their best to engage a child in the subject at school. We have done everything to ensure that our platform would interest students in learning. To do this, we apply the most up-to-date teaching methods and technologies: gamification, interactivity, animation, applied assignments, and tasks that develop critical thinking. Therefore, it is fun and interesting for children to learn math with GIOS.
4

Is GIOS the same as a school curriculum?

GIOS does not replace the school curriculum but rather deepens and complements it. Our lessons may be useful for self-paced learning and learning with a tutor. GIOS may also be applied at schools to make math classes more interactive and engaging. Our materials cover the main program topics and types of tasks commonly represented in tests, exams, and Olympiads.
5

Can I try GIOS out for free?

Yes, we provide You with an opportunity to take a free Math lesson on our platform.
6

What is the structure of GIOS online course?

In each of the courses, the material of one of the classes is presented. The course consists of topics, and topics are made up of lessons. Each topic begins with an entrance test and ends with a final test. So, there is an opportunity to compare your knowledge at the entrance and at the exit. Each lesson consists of two blocks: theoretical (animated interactive video lesson, diagrams, examples of typical tasks with solutions) and practical (16 tasks: 10 tests, 1 matching, 1 error search, 1 procedure, 3 tasks for entering the answer) .
7

How many times can you take the lesson?

After the lesson has been completed once, you can improve your result and complete the lesson with similar tasks again.
8

How often do you need to work on the platform?

It depends on how the user goes through the lesson itself. Some users can do only a few tasks a day (and then they can log into the platform every day), while someone can immediately devote a lot of time to learning a topic and log in only once a week.
